ITV Chief Executive Stands Down

Charles Allen has quit as head of ITV in the face of falling ad revenue. The channel has been facing increasing competition for advertising spend from digital TV, and the reality programmes championed by Mr Allen, such as Love Island, have had disappointing viewing figures. (Personally we're fans of Love Island, but there we go.)
